Since 1965, Gregory has created exquisite art in the floral design industry. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,     Gregory grew up playing in a flower shop owned by family friends.  Gregory always knew he would work in a creative field, and after obtaining a degree in fashion design and working in the garment industry for a few years, he eventually went back to his roots and became a floral designer.


Gregory opened "Flowers by Sir Gregory" in 1979 in Toluca Lake, California.  Sir Gregory became an integral part of the community, designing for the entertainment industry and the local companies and residents.


In 1999, Sir Gregory moved his business to Santa Barbara where for many years he served the tri-county area from his shop on State Street, “The Ritz Florist of Santa Barbara,” and later from his shop, “Flowers by Sir Gregory,” in Santa Ynez.

Sir Gregory creates beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, parties, wine tasting festivals, national dog shows, memorial services, and other special events.  His skill, expertise and flawless taste enables him to design according his clients’ needs and expectations.  


Limited only by the bounds of his imagination, Sir Gregory sculpts arrangements ranging from traditional to modern, rustic to romantic, whimsical to inspirational.  His extraordinary talent and unique personal style makes Sir Gregory one of Santa Barbara’s premiere floral designers.

Although he has recently closed his retail shops, Sir Gregory still maintains a loyal following and continues to work privately for local businesses, estates, vineyards, wineries, and personal clients.
